Guiga KBBQ is located along a prominent area of Craig street, which you’re sure not to miss. The restaurant is about a 7-9 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar. The general atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant is very “old school” and resembles the classic Korean restaurant that makes you feel a sense of warmth and familiarity.

Menu Of Guiga Restuarant
Guiga provides a large variety of authentic Korean cuisine. They have 2 menus, one for lunch and one for dinner. The lunch menu includes typical Korean food such as Ja Jiang noodles, Bi-Bim Bap, and even raw crab in soy sauce. The dinner menu focused on the BBQ sets.
What we ordered
For our main, we ordered set A, a combination of various U.S prime beef ribs and brisket. The staff were extremely helpful and helped us grill and cooked the meat according to our preference, medium-rare.
The ribs and brisket were very well marinated, not too sweet nor too salty. You could still taste the freshness of it, unlike some of the eat all you can buffet which taste rather plasticky.
Korean blood sausage soup, a mixture of animal intestine stuffed with glass noodle. This is one of my personal favourite and will have it every time I’m in Korea. It tasted pretty decent, but I personally prefer a stronger flavour. This would be great for family or friends who would like to try something new but don’t want to go too crazy.
The Korean steam egg was a complementary side to our main. The only downer about this is that the egg was sunken instead of fluffing up but it still tasted pretty good. 😂
Concluding Remarks On Guiga Restaurant
All in all, it was a fantastic and nostalgic experience! It felt like I was dining in Korea all over again, given the travel ban. Great atmosphere with fantastic customer service. The food can be a little pricy for some but you’re indeed paying for quality food, plus it’s always expensive to dine in CBD areas. Totally recommend coming back here again!
